One thing I’m afraid to lose Everyone is scared of losing something. Be it health, wealth, love or even a favourite plushy or comfort blanket from their childhood. No matter how brave or strong someone is, the fear of losing something or someone is always present — it is part of human nature after all. We get emotionally attached to things present in our lives. Most people would probably say that they are afraid to lose their family, that they cannot imagine losing their mom or dad or a sibling, because they mean the world to them. Others would be scared of losing their job or their home, as their life depends on it. While it may be unusual, I would have to say that the thing I’m afraid of losing the most is, quite honestly, myself or my love. It must sound selfish, right? Am I not scared of my parents dying?
